Theology Classes

Adult classes cover the books of the Bible in series of sections beginning with The Books of Moses (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy). Particular attention is given to interpretations of the biblical texts as well as the historical-cultural and linguistic context of authorship to aid in better understandings of familiar passages as well as difficult or “dark” passages. Classes are a combination of lecture presentations and group discussions. Presentations analyze both the human authors’ intentions and the inspired intentions of the Divine Author to distinguish literal truths and spiritual truths, as well as their prophetic meanings as revealed throughout the rest of the Old Testament and realized in Christ and the Gospels of the New. Adults of all ages and genders are encouraged to attend.
